No. We work with people of all fitness and experience levels. Even if you’re brand new to the idea of grappling or self-defense training, we can provide modifications, so you feel confident stepping into the gym and onto the mat.
IS SUBMISSION GRAPPLING THE SAME AS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU?

Submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) are similar, and submission grappling is derived from BJJ.

Submission grappling and BJJ both use leg locks, arm locks, chokes, and submission holds. They use different training methods, techniques, and strategies to defeat opponents, though.

People who practice submission grappling also do not wear gis, while those who practice BJJ do.
